Hong Kong Family and Women Development Summit 2026 – “Shaping Women’s Strengths and Harnessing a Shared Future for Families”

The Hong Kong Family and Women Development Summit 2026 (Summit) is scheduled on 31 March 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center and is co-organised by Home and Youth Affairs Bureau, Women's Commission and Family Council. Themed “Shaping Women’s Strengths and Harnessing a Shared Future for Families”, the Summit will invite the officials responsible for policies on women or family from different regions, as well as successful women from various sectors, representatives of families from different backgrounds and non-governmental organisation as guest speakers. They will share their valuable experiences and insights together with the representatives from business sectors and related service organisations on the importance of family and women’s development in building a harmonious society and promoting national development.

The speakers of the keynote speeches of the Summit will share the experiences and achievements of different places in promoting family and women’s development, and explore the importance of family and women’s development in building a harmonious society and promoting national development.

The Summit will hold two thematic sessions. Titled Co-creating “She Power” in the New Era, the first thematic session will bring together distinguished women from various fields to share their experiences, and showcase how women, with their resilience and determination, are breaking boundaries, creating value, and spearheading progress across different industries. It will also explore ways to foster an enabling environment that supports women’s growth and development, further unleashing “She Power” and empowering them to seize the opportunities of the new era.

The second thematic session is titled as “Uniting Our Families, Co-building a Harmonious Society”. This session will invite families from diverse backgrounds to share their experiences and insights on fulfilling family responsibilities, nurturing marital relationships, and raising children. It will also examine how family cohesion provides steadfast support in times of adversity, helps pass down cherished values, and how this strength can spread warmth to the wider community and help build a harmonious society.

The main target participants of the Summit include representatives from the local and Greater Bay Area women’s groups, business sectors and related service organisations. They will exchange experiences on women’s development and family education. Exhibition booths will also be set up in the venue to showcase the achievements of women’s groups and family service organisations in promoting women’s development and family education.
